Challenge

When we have been planning the development of one of our software products, the process automation solution for oil and chemical companies we faced with the necessity to ease the reporting burden and create a set of complex reports presenting large amount of data. We had some special requirements to the reporting tool which seemed to be hard to find in one product.

Solution

To meet our challenge we’ve chosen SharpShooter Reports – a report generator for .Net. What we like most is the flexibility provided by the product. We had some special requirements to the reporting tool and chose Perpetuum because it provided several competitive advantages comparing with similar solutions. First is that during work with the product we did not have to learn any proprietary languages because SharpShooter Reports uses C#. In addition to this, powerful design features for report templates, easy access to the data have been decisive for us and allowed us to develop the reporting features on our product unexpectedly fast and easy.
